One of the best things about competing in Miss Teen Pageant Girl UK is that we get to choose our own charity to fundraise for.

I have chosen Dyslexia Scotland as I am dyslexic myself and struggled all the way through school. I wasn’t officially diagnosed until I was 17, despite my mum knowing that things weren’t quite right. I would watch the words swimming on the page and feel so stupid. 

Now I know that I am not stupid and that my brain processes things a little differently! I hope that by raising funds and awareness for Dyslexia Scotland, people will get the support they need as soon as they need it!
