Maynooth School of Law and Criminology Christmas Bake-Off 2022 · 7 December 2022

Children's Health Foundation Crumlin provides urgent funding where it is needed most across CHI at Crumlin and National Children's Research Centre – from funding essential equipment and patient and parental supports to making new services and ground-breaking paediatric research possible.

Story

The Maynooth University's School of Law and Criminology annual Christmas Bake Off Competition is back!!

This competition took place in 2018 and 2019 (please view some photos in the gallery above!) but unfortunately due Covid-19 it could not take place in 2020 and 2021.

Over the year two years, the bake-off has been substituted for Christmas walks that the School's staff and PhD students participated in. Incredibly, over €1,000 was raised each year for Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) Hospital Crumlin.

The School is delighted the bake-off is back this year which takes place among its staff and PhD students to raise money for CHI Hospital Crumlin.

This year the School's staff and PhD students are back to the kitchen in attempts to impress the School's very own Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry (to be announced)! Staff and PhD students will be baking and bringing goods decked out in their Christmas jumpers, with the baked goods being judged and a Star Baker being announced by the judges on the day.

The bake off will take place on Wednesday 7th December at 1pm in New House  #MaynoothSL&C4Crumlin

We appreciate all donations, however big or small, for this event and for such a worthy cause. Please note there will be an option on the day to donate in cash also.

We ask those attending on the day and/or donating to tag Maynooth School of Law and Criminology on social media with #MaynoothSL&C4Crumlin

The event will again be fundraising for Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) Crumlin who do #WhateverItTakes to give every sick child a fighting chance and provides excellent healthcare to children from all over Ireland every day. The impact of donations transform children lives for the better and supports their families across every day. CHF provides urgent funding where it is needed most across CHI at Crumlin and National Children’s Research Centre– from funding essential equipment and patient and parental supports to making new services and ground-breaking paediatric research possible.
