Muffins for Midwives runs from 1st - 31st of May and is all about celebrating the important work of midwives around the world.

International Day of the Midwife is on the 5th May and we want to celebrate all midwives, so get your buns in the oven this May and host a 'Muffins for Midwives' cake sale, coffee morning or tea party! Gather your colleagues, friends or family and the money you raise will pay for midwives to be trained in Africa.

It costs just £80 a month to train a midwife so together, people in the UK can help midwives in Africa save lives.

Maternity Worldwide are currently training 3 midwives; Lensa, Robert and Dave. 1 in 22 women die in pregnancy and childbirth in developing countries. Access to a midwife is the best intervention! Please help us to train more skilled and dedicated midwives.
