Thank you for holding a Maternity Worldwide Muffins for Midwives event.

The money you raise will go towards the training of midwives in sub-Saharan Africa.  On average it costs just £80 a month to train a registered midwife.  1 in 22 women die in pregnancy and childbirth in developing countries.  Access to a midwife is the best intervention.  Anything you can raise will go a long way and help to save lives in childbirth now and for future generations.
