As part of MUFG’s annual fundraiser ‘Fitprints for Good’, get ready this September for London’s flagship event that will see MUFG employees in London taking part in the 5k Run for Good. 

As the flagship event for MUFG’s annual fundraiser Fitprints for Good, you’ll help us raise vital funds for Laureus Sport for Good’s Ukraine Humanitarian Action Fund to be channelled to organisations working to alleviate the humanitarian disaster unfolding in and around Ukraine. Laureus are working to help a growingly desperate and vulnerable population. The fund will support children who have fled the fighting and have made their way to neighbouring countries.

More than half of Ukraine’s 7.5 million children have now been forced to flee the ongoing conflict. Hospitals, homes, water supplies and schools have been damaged or destroyed. Children have been separated from their families, and many people have been left without food, clean water or electricity.

The 5km run will take place on Wednesday 28th September from the Bankside path by the Tate Modern in the City of London, and wind its way over the Southwark Bridge, past some of London’s most known landmarks such as Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge and Tower of London. A truly iconic route which we would love for you to join.

Everyone is welcome to join in, whether you walk, jog, run or volunteer. There will be tail walkers to ensure you don’t get left behind! The goal is to have fun, while raising money for a worthy cause.
