Dr Mulham Alwani passed away peacefully on 18th September 2022 at 09.38 at home surrounded by his loving family, after almost 5 years of treatment for gastric cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. 

Mulham’s treatment was lead by Professor David Cunningham, who along with his team, provided cutting edge, top quality care at the Royal Marsden Fulham. The care and expertise of the team and all staff at this hospital helped to make the very difficult path he had to travel more bearable. 

Mulham hadn’t been affected by cancer prior to his diagnosis, and like most of us, knew it was out there, but assumed and hoped it wouldn’t affect him. Post diagnosis, he was always shocked at the number of young people he saw getting treatment there, and the number of families affected, from all walks of life. 

We would like to raise funds for this excellent hospital and charity, in order to support the other families going through this terrible journey, and to help fund research into new treatments which may save lives.
