Hi Friends & Family,

This Friday I am taking part in the Night Hike, walking 15 km with my mum through the night to help raise money for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre. 

As most of you know my mum was diagnosed with cancer back in 2019. During my mum’s long and difficult journey of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, this support centre stood by mum and really made her feel human through this traumatic time in her life. Their support came in different forms, such as massages to ease her aches and pains caused by treatment, and make up tutorials to take her mind off her hair loss. My family and I can not thank The Nightingale Support Centre enough, this is just a small way to help support them so that they can go on and support other cancer patients who are on their own difficult journey.
