15 years ago Jacqui came into our lives. Our families shared lots fun and laughter, (cups of tea and glasses of wine!) over the next 10 years or so. The kids all went to the same schools. We barbequed and biked, ceilidh'd and hiked. We even tried to teach Jacqui to ski - but you can't ski at snail's pace!! .....then in 2009... strange things began to happen to her.. her body began to "misbehave"....

Two and half years ago she was cruelly taken away after suffering from MND for about 2 years. The disease strikes randomly it seems but more research is needed to worked why? and how? and if? if there could be some way to stop it, slow it down or something....  not to mention helping with care and support for the sufferers and their families.

Wish us luck! And thank you for anything you can donate....  here's hoping the troublesome right calf muscle recovers in time....
