One year ago today my mum was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. She died less than 4 months later. The loss was (is) enormous, the matriarch, the glue that held us all together, the peacemaker, the nurturer, the organiser of all great things, the absolute best person I knew. There is no cure and little treatment, yet 6 people will be diagnosed every day in the UK, and let me tell you it is an awful way to watch someone go. On the 7th of May my family and friends will be walking 5 miles to raise urgent funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to support people living with the disease and help find a cure. The age range of our team is 2 years to 77 years 💪🏼 Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤️
