Murray Calder is one of those uniquely brilliant souls: universally loved and respected, with seemingly unlimited brilliant thoughts and kind words, wrapped up in a curious mind, coupled with a discerning taste and an encyclopedic knowledge of beats and cuts. Which makes the situation he - and his family - find themselves in all the more devastating. 

So if like many of us you're feeling helpless, frustrated and want to say fuck you to cancer in a way that feels 'Murray', (and to build on the amazing fundraising his sister Lynsey has done with her recent challenge), donate to Maggie's here. (The one in Edinburgh has been and continues to be there for Murray, Emma & Sorcha but they're all amazing, and sadly all of us probably know why.)

Then he can sit back, listen and then no doubt unable to help himself, turn them into one of his mercurial mixes and blow our minds, because, well, Murray.
