DISABILITY MATCHDAY MARCH · 29 February 2020

On the 29th February, FFC Foundation disability particpants will take on a 4 mile walk along the Thames, finishing at Craven Cottage in time for the Fulham v Preston match. The walk will raise vital funds for our Disability Programes

Story

Fulham Football Club Foundation run a number of different programmes for Children and Adults with Disabilities in our local community. From Pan Disability Football to disability specific sessions; for those with Down's Syndrome, Autism, and Visual Impairments, our aim is to provide an environment best suited to the needs of the individual participants. Funds raised from this walk will go a long to supporting these programmes and the participants involved.

My name is Musa, I’m 7 years old and I have Right-sided Hemiplegia. This means I had a stroke when I was in the womb which caused injury to a part of my brain which controls movement of my Right Arm and leg.

I have grown up watching my three brothers play football and have always wanted to join a team myself.

I really appreciate the Fulham foundations dedication to providing me the opportunity to play football as they have allowed my to play football weekly and also take part in tournaments with other children with disabilities.
