I am raising money for the Harefield Hospital Charity - because a close friend of mine who's health I watched deteriorate rapidly due to a condition on her lungs has just had a lung transplant and is a patient of theirs.The charity helps the hospital fund projects such as building, buying vital equipment, supporting patients and conducting research that the NHS can't fund. Without the work of this hospital my friend would still require an oxygen tank for her to breathe and function. Everyday tasks that we take for granted became impossible for her. Now she is on her feet, breathing with her new lungs and being supported all the way. I believe this hospital have saved her life. There's still a long way to go but this hospital have done so much for her, I want to raise money so that they can continue to do the amazing work they do.
