Music Bugs, the fun, lively music classes for babies and pre-schoolers, will be getting into the saddle during Royal Ascot Race Week (16 – 20 June 2009) by holding special horsey themed classes to help raise money for Horse Power, a charity that brings together rehabilitated ex-racehorses and children with special needs.

During our weekly music and singing classes for the under 5's we have lots and lots of fun with singing, knee bouncers, action songs and finger play rhymes and bring a huge selection of exciting props to class each week. The favourite of which is our famous Hobby Horse, made exclusively for Music Bugs and loved by the hundreds of children who attend our classes.

During our themed 'Horsey' week, we hope to raise public awareness of the wonderful work that Greatwood do, not only in rescuing and rehabilitating ex racing horses but in providing an opportunity for children with special needs to learn life skills and emotional literacy through interaction with rescued former racehorses.

Every little bit helps and every donation, no matter how small will make a BIG difference to the lives of those children who are fortunate enough to spend time with the horses at Greatwood. Thankyou!
