During the month of May the Barrhead Muthabubba toddlers will each walk 10km in order to raise vital funds for the Glasgow Children's Hospital 

60% of the Children's Hospital's income comes from fundraising and events which have been postponed or cancelled due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. This means the hospital, and it's amazing staff, are under more strain than ever. All of our kids have benefited from the amazing work of this hospital, and the toddlers are sad to hear of the many sick and vulnerable adults and children needing more help than ever. Therefore we've decided to do something to try and help.

The Barrhead Muthabubbas is a mums and baby group, founded in January 2018 as a support network for first time mums. The group still runs today and is a vital form of support and friendship for it's members. Lockdown has had a huge impact on its members, especially the toddlers who are now 2&3 years old, and missing their friends and weekly socialising. The group members have decided to use their daily exercise to raise awareness and vital funds, whilst maintaining social distancing.
