Maida Vale School's International Languages Day Food Festival!

Maida Vale School is raising money for Sparkle Malawi

International Day of Languages Food Festival · 25 September 2020

The Sparkle Foundation aims to create brighter futures for children and the community through education, nutrition, healthcare, and community empowerment in Malawi. We believe that every child deserves the chance to Sparkle! This is a UK registered charity founded by Sarah Brook in 2012.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

At Maida Vale School we are raising funds for Sparkle Malawi by holding a Food Festival full of international foods cooked by our own pupils.

Sparkle is our overseas charity which helps build education centres, feed communities and provide health care for those in need in Malawi. It is founded by an ex-pupil of our Headmaster Steven, and we are proud to be raising money for this incredible charity.

We are asking pupils to donate a recommended £5 for entry to the food festival. They will receive a 'thank you' goody-bag and get to taste all of the incredible food on offer. All food will be individually wrapped and will have been made in a nut-free environment. There will also be music and more information about Sparkle on offer.

This is a really exciting opportunity for the Pupils and Staff of Maida Vale School to come together and show who we truly are.

We are hoping to raise £250. Let's see if we can break it!
