Blackpool Memory Walk · 8 October 2017 ·

Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

IN MEMORY OF MY MUM BARBARA WOOLLIN AND ALL OUR RESIDENTS PAST AND PRESENT IN LAKELAND VIEW CARE CENTRE!

Jane and I are walking for A World Without Dementia on the 8th October in Blackpool. This is very close to my heart right now as my Mum, Barbara Woollin, lost her fight with Alzheimers in August so Jane and I will walk in her memory!  Please sponsor us as we walk ..... to save others from this very sad heart wrenching disease.

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it’s the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
