Story
I have met people with Alzheimer's and have learnt the effect it has on families. I am close to people who are developing symptoms and day by day it is heart wrenching. The more we realise the more we can help prevent this and even aim towards discovering a cure. Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year - that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September I am walking 4 miles across the Humber Bridge along with many others, and thousands more across the England, Wales and Northern Ireland; all in aid of Alzheimer's Society so that one day there will be a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate Just Giving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society and this will help continue work already which has already began. Please dig deep and help me out with reaching my target, help me walk for a world without dementia. Every little you can afford could help save a little piece of heart ache for one more family.
