.My mum was diagnosed with Lowy body Dementia 5 years ago and had been suffering for at least  4 years before then . I have watched her go through so many changes over this time . My mum ,Margaret Yeats was a true fighter and Lowy body Dementia took away so much from her but she thought till the end . Unfortunately my mum lost her battle on 17th September . As heart breaking  as it was  , she at least now can rest . My mum's last days were testing and brought much sorrow , the hardest  times I've ever experienced in my life . She had pain relieve to help her relax , I will never truly know if she was aware I was there ,but id like to think at least she knew she wasn't on her own . I will miss her everyday  .  

Dementia takes away so much of the real.person , my mum could not feed , toilet , drink , wash at all by herself  she was fully dependent on others . Not all sad because despite it all she still smiled at me and even laughed xxxxxx
