Memory Walk 2019
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help, to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

My grandad Colin and my great aunt Barbara both have Alzheimer's and now live in a care home. It has been heartbreaking to see their condition deteriorate so quickly over the last few years. Even though physically they are still with us, they are just not the same people they were only a few years ago. It's a cruel, cruel disease.

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
