In April 2019 my mum was diagnosed as being in the final stages of dementia and spent a month in hospital as she’d stopped eating or drinking. She was sent home with an end of life plan and we as a family prepared for the worst. My mum is a fighter and she’s still with us and I’m so grateful to have more time with her, even though she doesn’t remember who I am. 

In honour of my amazing mother I plan to do the Memory Walk in March and try to raise funds to help towards research into this awful disease. Please  donate to my fundraising efforts. Every single penny is welcome. Thank you!
