Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. With your help, we aim to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

For my Daddy 💙

My dad was diagnosed with early onset dementia at 59 years old. The impact this illness has on not only the person diagnosed but all who love them is truly devastating. After 11 years living with dementia my dad passed away last April. Although it was Covid that took my dads life in the end the dementia played its part. It is so important for me to continue raising awareness and funds now in my dads memory in the hope that one day others won’t need to go through what we as a family have. Thank you so much for your continued support 💙

“ the hardest thing is watching someone you love, forget they love you”

Every three minutes someone in the UK develops dementia. That's the equivalent of around 225,000 people every year. By taking part in Memory Walk I am helping to work towards a dementia free future and help people affected by dementia.

Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together!
