We fund projects, research and equipment to help patients, our people and visitors

Story

This year, at Leventhorpe, Charity Week is going to look and feel very different. However, the key concept remains the same - coming together as a school to support an individual charity or organisation by raising funds.

Last year, Mr White agreed to have his legs waxed (They still have not fully recovered) upon a fundraising target of £500 being met. Such was the enthusiasm to see our Headteacher put himself through this discomfort, we managed to raise over £1000 as a school body, which was a fantastic achievement!

This year, for charity, Mr White has agreed to deliver an assembly from an bath of freezing cold ice following charity week, should we meet our £750 target.

All proceeds will go to the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust Charitable Fund.

About the charity

We support patients, our people and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. We provide support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research.
