Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

As we do our part by staying home and keeping the country safe, as well as supporting the NHS and other key workers, I wanted to do something to connect to people. My aim is to write a novel, using existing characters in order to raise money for worthwhile charities. All sales from the book, once it is complete, will also go to good causes.

I will start the book on the 26 April 2020 and complete the first draft by the 14 July 2020. That's a novel in 2.6 months, which equates to 11.2 weeks or 79 days.
