Story
Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.
We need to replace the income Different Strokes would have received from outdoor, summer fundraising events that are no longer taking place so that we can be there for the next stroke survivor when they need us.
Thor and I are going to be walking around the local park 26 times. Thor's a high maintenance dog requiring an hour a day walk and he only usually gets 3 or 4 walks around it within that and having been hit by a car at almost 70mph I'm not going to pretend I don't struggle physically, but Different Strokes has been so important to me and my recovery that I'm going to push myself to do it to ensure they don't lose out because they can't do the fundraising they'd organised and lose that vital income!
See why in my story https://differentstrokes.co.uk/stories/gregs-story-update/ - could you help please, even just a little?
