The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

I know it is a difficult time for everyone at the moment. We are keen to keep fundraising to help our vulnerable communities in locked down Nepal and many of the rural communities that Pahar Trust support have no source of income - no way of getting produce to market and no construction projects to work on. We are trying to give our expert masons some basic allowance as many of them are stranded a long way from their own homes.

£5 would feed a family for a week and £10 could give a student a meal at school for an entire term.

I was supposed to be running the Bristol 10k on May 3rd and have continued with my training. I plan to run 26.2 miles between now and May 3rd which includes running the 10k virtually. I have found it really hard running solo rather than with my This Mum Runs group in BS34 but have been determined and am benefiting, physically and mentally. I realise how lucky I am to be in a country where we can still go out for exercise and to the shops where produce is plentiful (apart from flour it seems!)
