Story
From the 26th of April, we have joined the rest of the UK to raise funds for the 2.6 Challenge and support our MS Therapy Centre.
The 2.6 challenge can be any activity you like - from walking 2.6 miles to running for 26 minutes or lifting a weight 26 times. Be as creative as you like!
Some ideas: Have a workout online with 26 of your friends, keep silent for 26 hours, walk 26 times up and down stairs, flip a pancake 26 times, bake 26 cupcakes and many more!
Most people are taking part on the 26th of April but you can choose to do your challenge up until the 9th of May or after.
Challengers, so far: Jane Everett, Bela Brown, JP, Sarah Parry, Nitin Vaingankar, Les, Swarupa and Robert Barker.
How it works:
Step 1:
Option 1:
Come up with your own challenge and fund raise for the Centre.
You can set up your own JustGiving page.
To do so, please click here: https://bit.ly/2zfaW8n.
Then search for our charity under 'Bedfordshire and Northampton MS Therapy Centre' and set up your JustGiving page and get people to sponsor you.
Option 2:
If you'd rather not set up your own separate JustGiving page for your challenge or if you do not wish to join in with the challenge but you would like to support it by donating, please click on 'Donate Now' on the top right hand side of this page. You can select any amount and can leave us a message.
Option 3:
You can just do a challenge to support the charity, you do not have to donate. You can challenge yourself to any activity with the numbers 26 or 2.6.
Please email details of your challenge to fundraising@mscentrebedsandnorthants.com along with a photo or two of you doing the challenge and we will promote this on FB. Please complete by 9th May. The rest of the steps do not apply to you.
Step 2:
Ask family and friends to sponsor you or ask them to do their own 2.6 challenge.
Step 3:
Complete your challenge.
Step 4:
Let your friends and family know you have completed your challenge. You could share a photo of your challenge on the Centre's/our social media site.

All the money you have raised will be donated to the Centre. Whether you fundraise or donate, it makes such a difference! Do join this national initiative - our charity needs you now more than ever.
Anyone can take part, keeping in mind the government's guidelines on social distancing and exercise.
