Story
I am currently doing my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, and was inspired to make a difference to peoples lives that dont have the things I have. I have always dreamt of running for charity, since we we went to see my Auntie Ali run the London Marathon and this is a great way to start, next time I will try a marathon in one go.....maybe!
My sisters God Father works for the Inhope Charity, working with people in need. And so i thought this was a great charity to support.
The Inhope workers told me: We really are a lifeline for homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol. One of our clients, who regularly visits one of our projects, was recently interviewed and said,"Without the Wild Goose, I wouldn't be here. They've saved my life. It sounds a bit melodramatic, but that's the truth! I would've just spiralled into depression and drink. They're really, really kind people, in there. You get all sorts of help. Its just nice to know that somebody really cares."By donating to us, you will be helping more and more people like this man. Not only do we care for people in their immediate crisis of lack of food and shelter, but we journey alongside people and provide long term support through Life Recovery to enable people to gain freedom, independence and a fulfilling life.
