Action for M.E. works to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect people with M.E. experience. Our children's services offer support and information to children and young people with M.E., their families and carers carrying on the vital work of AYME, the Association of Young People with M.E.

Story

I have published a list of 30 wishes to try and complete before I'm 30 but having severe M.E means I can't do them myself.

Emily was a good friend of mine, she went through hell with her M.E and yet somehow managed to write this amazing guide book. I may of had the illness for over a decade when Emily completed the book but it was still useful and I still refer to it (my first thought when an issue drops up is to ask Em herself but I have to turn to the book instead). I can not put into words how much I wish it had been around to help my family when I first became bedbound.

Sadly Emily passed away but her memory lives on- helping others like she did her whole life.

Emily wanted the book sold at cost price so it costs £5.99 including postage. My wish is for people to sponsor a copy and I will make sure your book is sent out to someone desperately in need of the help this book will give them. It's not a general donation to AYME.

Please check out my wishes and why I'm doing this as well as more information about Emily here http://my30wishes.blogspot.com

Thank you,

Goal amount is £179.70 as this will get 30 books to bedbound people but of course raising more would be great!
