David was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2012 which currently is a treatable but not a curable blood cancer. We are looking to support the charity Myeloma UK where his wife Geraldine is a trustee, and which provides not only patient advice and support but also plays a strong advocacy role to ensure myeloma gets the research and NHS attention it deserves. This charity also helps sponsor pioneering research to ensure that this will become a curable cancer in the future.
