Hi and Thank You for visiting my page! I am a member of the Royal British Legion Portugal Branch (Lisbon Area BR 3443) and signed up to take part in My Poppy Run 2021. I joined a virtual community of runners across the UK and around the world to raise money for this amazing cause.  As most of you know, I have a long standing "running habit" but in the past I haven't run to raise money for charity.  The centenary of RBL seemed like the right moment to change this so I challenged myself to run at least 100 miles between 1 September and Remembrance Sunday. The overwhelming support I received enabled me to double my running and fundraising targets. The Poppy Appeal was founded to help those in need following a national crisis. Right now they are helping those who are isolated from family, facing homelessness, struggling to feed their children and are in financial crisis. They are working tirelessly to ensure that those who have served are being looked after no matter what challenges they, and the country faces. Your donation will mean they can continue to provide the life-changing support that our Armed Forces community needs and deserves. Thank You.
