I am doing this trek because I want to make a real difference in helping Marie Curie to care and support people at a time when they need it most. 

 This 10 day trek will push me out of my comfort zone and challenge me physically and emotionally. I will be hiking up the steep stoney paths and sharp descents of the Northern Vietnam mountains, as well as crossing through rivers, forests, jungles and valleys. The conditions will be hot & humid. I will be living in very basic conditions, eating local food, sleeping in the open air, and have very little in the way of facilities. 

I'm a simple lady who has lived my life for my family. My mum told me on her death bed to 'stop being a Mrs Mop' and live life to the full. THIS IS FOR YOU MUM!
