The MY Utilities team will be taking part in the Derbyshire 5K to raise money for the Murphy Young Foundation. The 5K will take place on the 23rd February.

MY Utilities is part of the MY Group of companies and supports the Murphy Young Foundation. The Foundation offers support and funding for people and social enterprise groups within the geographic work regions of the Murphy Young Group of companies.

The beneficiaries of the Murphy Young Foundation fund raising includes those social enterprises where all funds are used entirely for public good and their activities are for the support and benefit of the elderly, groups who are disadvantaged physically, by learning difficulty or socially and individuals who are similarly disadvantaged or have serious health conditions limiting their ability to participate in the environment in which they live.

All funds that are raised by the Foundation are given directly to a supported group or individual. In addition the Murphy Young Group tops up all funds raised as well as meeting all costs for administrating the charity.
