I've always wanted to run the marathon and I'm finally doing it! I had a little set back a few years ago when I tore my ACL, but I'm determined to not let it stop me. I have been training hard and I am so excited that 2018 is the year I will be running to complete the 26.2 miles.
So why am I putting myself through this?
I'm running the marathon to raise awareness about Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E). M.E is a long term illness with a wide range of neurological symptoms including muscle pain with intense physical and mental exhaustion. The most common symptom is extreme tiredness.
I have a close friend that has M.E and she inspires me and I am running for her and others with M.E.
Please donate anything you can and check out the M.E website https://www.actionforme.org.uk/
Thank you :) x
