RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Hello Folks and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the end of August or the beginning of September (depending on the weather), I will embark on the challenge to emulate the Scottish Islands Peaks yacht race in my sea kayak. This is a journey of 290km from Oban via the Isle of Mull, the Isle of Jura, around the Mull of Kintyre. the Isle of Arran and finishing in Troon. On the way I will climb the highest peaks on the Isle of Mull (Ben More), Jura (Paps of Jura) and Arran (Goat Fell). I hope to complete this challenge within a week.

I sincerely hope you're inspired by my challenge to donate for the cause I'm supporting. I believe the RNLI are an essential lifesaving service for the seas and waters around Britain and they should never be taken for granted. The Tobermory Lifeboat Crew are in need of a new state of the art resuscitation mannequin for their emergency medical training and I am raising the funds for them to purchase one.
