International Citizen Service (ICS) is a global volunteering scheme that gives young people from all backgrounds an opportunity to make a real difference to some of the world’s poorest people.

In September I will be travelling to Ghana for three months to help local partners promote the rights of people living with disabilities. I will be helping the partners to operate in the most efficient way in serving the poor and the marginalised, helping them create a sustainable livelihood for generations to come.   

All money raised on this page goes straight to the charity and does not fund my amazing trip! 

Each project is designed to fight poverty and make a lasting difference by working with local people to meet local needs. So when you volunteer with ICS you won’t just think you will make a difference, you’ll know you will.

International Service supports people in developing countries to understand their rights, and put them into action, so they can change their lives for the better.

I will be working on a project in Ghana, working to improve the lives of people with disabilities who currently are unable to integrate in society and social festivals as they should. I will be in Ghana for 3 months and every penny will make an enormous difference to the lives of the people we meet, so dig deep and donate now!
