Story
Shelley said she was going trekking up a bonk in wales for charity and I said how ace that was. She then asked if I wanted to walk with her and I thought how wonderful! Sign me up.
Unfortunately it’s 21km and there’s words like ‘rucksack’ and ‘kit’ ‘waterproofs’ and ‘training’ in the description. Now I’m going to have to wonder around the streets aimlessly for months until I know I am even capable of walking that far. Never mind uphill. In 2020 I walked a daily average of 0.7km.
So if you would like to, please support me by donating to or sharing this page. I am doing this for Alzheimer’s Society again as things are getting worse for people with dementia. COVID has taken away the precious time they have left, the support they had and abilities and memories they struggle to keep
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
