We are raising money for the ‘Tuesday Special Needs Club’ or Tclub as it’s members know it. For those of you that are not familiar with Tclub, it is a club that runs every Tuesday evening for individuals with special needs. There are currently around 50 club members that attend who have a range of disabilities living in the local community. 

The club allows members to come along and get involved in a range of different social activities such as discos, karaoke, competitions, bingo and art and crafts. Most importantly it creates a safe and  social space for those that come along and have a good time. 

The club is run by volunteers and is dependent on funding, donations and members fees. The aim is to provide a wide range of activities and all monies raised is used to provide entertainment and new experiences to its members. Entertainment has included local singers, dancers, story tellers, magicians and critters keepers as well as providing Christmas parties and outings.

I have seen first hand how much the members look forward to attending their club on a Tuesday and the fun they all have. All our members are very talented and all enjoy a dance and sing song and never leave without a smile on their face
