Mark and I are terribly worried about the state of our mental health services when it comes to young people . Many of our young people are being woefully let down by this and previous governments . 

Charities like Young minds are thankfully there to help support many of those suffering , but could help so many more if they had more support.

Mark and I have a fabulous community on our socail media  platforms and a great number to of our followers have shared their heartbreaking  stories regarding their children’s mental a health . 

I will keep this message anon but this is one of many that  has broken my heart over recent months . 

My son is suffering from depression. we've been in touch with the doctors multiple times and even when we've told them he's had suicidal thoughts, they STILL won't see him face to face. 😡 I'm absolutely FUMING. They have referred him to a cognitive behavior therapist but it could be months before he is seen. He has good and bad days, the bad days are really frightening and it breaks my heart. 💔 I've tried to get him to reach out to mental health charities but he finds it very difficult to ask for help himself. He's started playing football again which he absolutely loves and hope the physical exercise will do him good, it's worked wonders for me in the past (Anon please if you use in the podcast, thank you) xx

The horror of utter powerlessness when it feels like your alone is shocking . Thats why charities like young minds are so important .

We love that young minds also support parents who are often on their knees trying to cope .
