Our mother is the greatest gift we receive in the world from nurturing us to providing us with endless love our mums are our superheroes! But imagine living in a war torn country, which makes up the shocking statistic of 99% of maternal deaths in the developing world, and where every 2 minutes a mother dies from preventable pregnancy and childbirth complications.This autumn, Muslim Hands will be hosting a Unite for Mothers of War 5km Night Walk all in aid of supporting expectant mothers and their new born babies across countries affected by war.By taking part, I will not only save a mother from preventable death, I will be saving the next generation.

We are mums and daughters from the village Stoke Poges in Buckinghamshire, UK.  As mothers, daughters, sisters and friends -- we realise how blessed we are to have access to proper health care, education and support during our lives particularly when carrying children.  The bond between mother and child is nothing short of a miraculous and sacred one -- yet so many women and children are robbed of this fundamental blessing.  Please help make a difference in the lives of mothers trapped in circumstances of poverty, violence, war and oppression.  Please open your hearts and give generously and may Allah swt reward your efforts, Ameen.  We are:
