Apart from the sporting triumph of hopefully completing what is a scary ride, I am very motivated by this opportunity to raise some money for a not-so-well-known charity and I am hoping you will support the cause. 

Emerging Leaders is a fantastic charity founded upon the principle that everyone has a leader in themselves, one that can be awakened and harnessed to achieve our maximum potential allowing us to take ownership of our lives. They work within vulnerable communities across Africa and India, empowering individuals to be leaders. The programme has seen incredibly moving success stories of people improving their own lives and the lives of others in their communities and I really want to help the charity carry on the great work.
