ICS works with partner organisations across the world to improve the lives of vulnerable, young people and to create opportunities to change lives for the better. Its work incorporates a variety of projects, from helping young people to improve their physical, mental and social wellbeing through awareness of issues such as AIDS and providing youth-friendly services, to supporting young people who have had conflict with the law understand their rights. I will update this page with specific details once my project has been finalised.

As part of my placement, I must raise a minimum of £800 so that ICS can continue to send youth volunteers to the developing world. This does NOT pay for my own placement, rather ensures the continuous running of ICS for both UK and in-country volunteers.

To do this, I am hoping to raise awareness of ICS, sell as much as possible on Ebay, sell cakes in various places, host dinner dates and potentially organise a pub quiz and some countdown to Christmas bag packing. If you have any other challenges for me, please fire them my way!
