I signed up last year to run the Edinburgh Marathon.  While I didn't anticipate seeking sponsorship for my run, given the tragedy which has stuck Christchurch I saw this event as an opportunity to raise money for those people at home who's lives have been devastated by the recent earthquake. E iti noa ana, na te aroha.

The British Red Cross have set up the New Zealand Earthquake Appeal and all money which is donated to this site will go to that appeal.

Thank you in advance for considering making a donation to this cause.  I know the money raised will be greatly appreciated by all those in Christchurch who so desperately need it to begin to rebuild their lives.
