Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving Page.  As part of Nando’s “Do the Right Thing” Drive, we the Property Team have chosen to cycle from York to London, to raise money for a brilliant charity, Wipe Your Tears.

 

Since 2003, Wipe Your Tears has been helping seriously and terminally ill children and their families enjoy life and their time together by assisting with financial support and care.  As well as providing the necessary day to day care for these families, donations to Wipe Your Tears also provide end of life wishes for children.  If there is something a child would really love to experience, or a hero they’d love to meet, Wipe Your Tears will endeavour to make this happen.

 

Recently, Wipe Your Tears also began to focus on assisting child victims of abuse and special cases of help for vulnerable children.

We’ve set ourselves a hopefully not unrealistic target of £2000.  A donation of just £5.00 can buy a hospitalised child a present to put an extra smile on their face on Christmas morning, and £100.00 can cover parents’ expenses, meaning they can stay by their child’s bedside through this incredibly difficult time.

 

The ride will begin in York on Monday 9 September, and finish at our offices in Putney, London on Thursday the 12.  We’ll of course be ending each day’s ride at a Nando’s for a well-earned chicken dinner!
