Hello, my name is Ian, I am Benjamin's Grandad. I am fundraising to support Muscular Dystrophy UK. Ben was diagnosed with Becker Muscular Dystrophy two years ago. This came as a profound shock to his parents and our entire family. Our world paused whilst we tried to come to terms with this news. Fast forward two years and I am determined this is not going to stop Ben living a happy, active life and  achieving his chosen goals, as are all parents and families whose children have been diagnosed with a life changing condition.

Ben is a happy, bright, funny and loving little chap.  He loves playing, nursery school and  getting involved and helping with anything you are doing. He can be very shy, but also very cheeky. I love spending time with Ben, he is an absolute joy to be around. 

 By raising money for this charity and supporting it, the ultimate goal is to raise enough money for the scientists to find a cure for this debilitating disease or at least help find a way to halt its progress.

I am doing a sky dive on September 11th 2021 Yes that's right a Grandad doing a sky dive !!!!!!   I am going to take a leap of faith, harnessed to a professional and I know I will land safely with his support and guidance.  Likewise, this is what I hope for my Grandson, with the guidance of the scientific professionals they will find a way to guide him to safety. I ask you to sponsor me in doing this, no matter how small, all donations would be greatly appreciated. 

We can beat this. We have scientists working tirelessly to try and find  a cure.
