Story
So.... it's early days but with everyone's help, we want to raise as much as we can for the charity close to Nan's heart.
Planets Cancer Trust
Neil Pearce was Nan’s consultant for many years and as many of you will know, was a huge part of Nan’s fight. Neil, alongside his colleagues, set up Planets Cancer Trust in 2011.
Nan wanted to raise money for this charity and I have now decided to carry on her fundraising with everyone's support.
Nan and I never got the chance to confirm exactly what she wanted to challenge me to, but I know it involved islands.
The challenges are yet to be decided. What I do know is that they will be completed on all of the following islands. Hence the Tri-island challenge.
- Anglesey (North Wales)
- Isle of Wight (England)
- Mallorca (Spain)
The challenges will be either;
- 10k / half marathon
- Walk
- Cycle
- And more than likely some water action
Depending on the success we may just continue to fundraise in Nan’s name and make it an annual event. If you would like to express an interest in joining in on any part of this challenge or have any questions please email andiegrimm@gmail.com.
