Candlelighters are an amazing charity that help fund lifesaving research,  help and support children and their families who  are facing cancer in Yorkshire. As a family they have helped us out immensely and we are so grateful.

Mia my Daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just before her 5th Birthday. What was suppose to be her first day of school instead was her first day of chemotherapy. Our world was turned upside down.Luckily Mia is doing really well at the moment and will be ringing the end of treatment bell in November 2023!

You can walk , run , swim or cycle the 150 miles in September.  On average I will need to do 5 miles a day. 

The reason this challenge is taking place in September is because it is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. And the reason it is 150 Miles is because every mile that we do represents every child in Yorkshire that is diagnosed each year with Cancer. Meaning one of those miles represents Mia my Daughter.
