My family was suddenly affected by cancer last year, my Dad received the scary news that he had late stage 3 colon cancer and needed to start treatment asap and had to have major surgery. This was hard for all of us to process and extremely upsetting, but it was even harder for my Dad who's life was turned upside down as he spent most of his time in hospital. He had to travel from Navan to Dublin every day for weeks to receive treatment. He has suffered so much and gone through so much pain but even when he was at his weakest he never stopped fighting and is still battling cancer.

He is by far the strongest person I know and I want to take part in the colour dash for him. I would love to raise as much money as possible as the Irish cancer society is such an amazing charity and helps so many people fighting cancer and their families.
