Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know in 2012 I lost a man I loved very much to cancer. Within the space of 3 months he went from being a healthy 30 year old man to being diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and losing his battle. Adam Hamer fought his hardest and I can honestly say that the Macmillan nurse made the most incredible impact not only helping Adam to manage his pain but to hug me after he died!

So I thought I’d do something a bit crazy this year and push myself to do a 10k and see if I can raise money for a cause very close to my heart. £25 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support. Let’s see if we can help support 10 hours of this and make an incredible difference to a lot of people! It honestly does make a difference! Please help me to help others!
