Ben was four days old when we took him to the doctors with an upset tummy, 3 hours later he was in a specialist ambulance on his way to birmingham children's hospital with a suspected heart condition. Later that day he has surgery to stabilise him. Two days after that he underwent major open heart surgery to fix his heart (he was born with a condition called transposition of the great arteries and a minor pulmonary sclerosis ). Without the care he received there we wouldn't have him today and the funds they receive help to save thousands of very poorly young babies every year. Most of the heart surgeries they undertake are on on babies less than a week old. I cannot ever do enough to repay them and this is just a small way to make a difference to another family who might be going through the same as us. Anything you can give is really appreciated.
