Story
My lovely dad has had prostate cancer for quite some time. He’s been through many treatments, and continues to approach his illness philosophically and with tremendous grace. I need to feel like I’m doing something, and so I'm running the 2018 Royal Parks Half for Prostate Cancer UK.
I’m quite sure that if any of my previous P.E. teachers got wind of this, they would die of shock, so you probably shouldn’t tell them. But tell everyone else, and ask them to throw a couple of quid my way so I can do my bit towards combatting this cancer.
Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.
